Naimish Shukla

Hi, I am Naimish Shukla

I’m Naimish Shukla, a student at Air Force Bal Bharati School in New Delhi. Obsessed with Lego since childhood, I progressed to DIY projects, leading me to aeromodelling. I interned at IIT Mandi for Vertical Takeoff and Landing. From sustainable energy to EV economics, my pursuits are diverse. I excel in Arduino, fixing gadgets, and building e-bikes. My love for physics and maths is unwavering. Active in clubs, MUN, and science fairs, I also enjoy nature and aspire to contribute to global sustainability. Beyond academics, I’m into scuba diving, surfing, guitar, and boxing, aiming to create an engineering marvel that transforms the world positively.

Aerospace Enthusiast

A passionate aeromodelling leader, with a knack for building innovative flying machines and a background in VTOL technology.

Sustainable Innovator

Committed to sustainable energy solutions, with experiences ranging from piezoelectric projects to nuclear energy experiments, and an internship focused on Electric Vehicles.

Multifaceted Creator

A versatile creator, proficient in Arduino, electronics, and e-bikes, who also enjoys playing guitar, diving into diverse interests from coding to building and playing music.

My Hands-on Projects

AeroModelling

My love for aeronautical engineering is deeply rooted in these experiences and the excitement they bring. And the part that I love the most is the aerodynamics and design of engines or aircraft.

Arduino Prototyping

Arduino prototyping opened my mind to the fascinating world of building smart objects with sensors, lights and displays which are controlled by a computer program.

E-bike

My project aims to offer a DIY kit for under Rs. 10,000 that people could assemble themselves or with help from a local cycle mechanic and convert their cycle into an e-bike.

EV2 ventures

I have completed a 6-week research internship with EV2 ventures. It involved doing detailed industry research and competitor analysis for various segments of smart mobility.

EHMS (External Heat Management System)

A seminar on innovation and entrepreneurship at IIT Kanpur which paved my way to an internship project subsequently, sparked my interest in developing innovative projects.

VTOL Design

My most recent research project at the India Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi involved developing an innovative electric VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing) model.

Nuclear Fusion Study

The by-product of the reactor will be radioactive waste, but it is not considered a major problem. ITER is focused on cost efficiency, with the goal of producing more energy than it consumes.

Rocket Experiments

I have delved into building rockets from scratch, from crafting the body to creating the propellant and experimenting with the propellant ratio. I used sulfur, charcoal, and potassium nitrate to make the propellant.

Aeromodelling in ATL for schools

I’ve had the chance to develop and share aeromodelling with students, working to make it more accessible. Through collaboration with ERDC and IIT Ropar, I hope to inspire curiosity and creativity in others.
